Located in Saint Andre de Roquelongue, near Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Narbonne and Beziers (Languedoc Region).
Flexible accommodation which sleeps 2-13 guests, 30 mins from beach, private pool. Quiet countryside setting nestling amongst vineyards and hills but slap-bang in the middle of all the good things to do in the Languedoc.
The house has lots of French flavour with stone walls and oak beams and local decor but at the same time has modern bathrooms and comprehensive entertainment for all the family including Wi-fi, TV, free use of telephone, mountain bikes and games (table tennis, magnetic darts, basketball etc).
The most popular features mentioned by our guests are the balcony terrace (with great views) for 'Al Fresco' dining and the large pool & terrace.

Background:
A 120 year old stone farm house lovingly restored in a French style but with modern, open and comfortable living space (over 2,500 square feet). The main living area is raised on the first floor with the benefit of stunning views over the Corbiere hills and surrounding vineyards.
The bedrooms are all large and light. The open plan, well-equipped kitchen and lounge area are also spacious but cosy. The large outside pool (heated on request) and private garden is perfect for sunbathing / BBQs / kids play area.
The house is situated amongst vineyards and is only 3 mins drive from the quaint village of St Andre de Roquelongue (including bakers, grocery store and chemist), only 15 minutes from the vibrant medieval city of Narbonne (great for shopping, restaurants & site-seeing) and 20 mins from Lagrasse (known as one of the prettiest towns in France).
The nearest beach is 30 mins drive and there is also quick access to the Canal du Midi, swimming & fishing in the clear water River Cesse, golf, and wine-tasting at the many local chateaux. There are several good restaurants nearby including one with 3 Michelin stars.
Spacious but cozy lounge / dining room with oak beams and a large open fireplace.
The largest bedroom on the 2nd floor mezzanine level is perfect for up to 4 /5 kids. Table football, magnetic dartsboard and basketball net included!
